NO Ceramics (WIP)
NO Ceramics is my current design and making fixation project.
After being introduced to ceramics during high school, and taking formal classes at uni, the world of ceramics has held me by a thread. Unlike many of my other creative pursuits, clay has been a stubborn thing to befriend. With its messy nature, and unpredicatibility, its perceived trait of being theraputic and calming didn’t seem to translate. However, my continual fascination and love for beautiful dishware, proposed the challenge: to commit to the ceramic craft, practice as often as I can.
Now, after a month of consistent practice, frustration, loss and small achievements, I am slowly learning to love it.
